Most residential stumps in Suite 2 cost $150 to $400 depending on the diameter. We offer discounts when grinding multiple stumps on the same property. The price includes grinding below grade and basic cleanup.

We take every precaution to minimize impact on your yard. We use plywood or mats to protect turf from equipment, lower branches with ropes rather than dropping them, and clean up thoroughly. Some minor turf marks are possible with heavy equipment but they recover quickly.

Late winter to early spring is ideal for most species because the trees are dormant and you can see the branch structure clearly. However, deadwood removal and hazard pruning can and should be done any time of year. We can advise on timing for specific species on your property.
